25k Raised, Thanks to You

Columbia Land Trust recorded its highest single-day giving total ever on Giving Tuesday.

This year for Giving Tuesday, the official kick-off of the holiday giving season, we dared you to do more. You rose to the occasion and then some. We’re thrilled to report that we raised $25,110 in just 24 hours, exceeding our $25,000 goal. This is an unprecedented single-day giving total for the Land Trust, which is fitting given the unprecedented scope of our new Conservation Agenda. We were heartened to receive gifts from friends old and new, from across the lower Columbia River region and beyond. These Giving Tuesday donations do more than buoy our work financially, they help remind our dedicated staff that we are part of a larger movement to conserve and restore our most cherished places and build a vibrant future for the Northwest. We’re making a real and lasting difference together.

Dare to Do More

On Giving Tuesday, we debuted three short videos highlighting the ways in which people are taking action in support of nature. Take a look below, and see how you might build your connection with the lands, waters, and wildlife in the region in the months and years to come. We’ll be offering tours and volunteer opportunities in 2018, and the Backyard Habitat Certification Program is another great way to deepen your relationship with the natural world.
